Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) secured a crucial victory over Delhi Capitals (DC) in IPL 2025, moving to the top of the points table. Krunal Pandya played a key role, overcoming a challenging start to his innings with the support of Virat Kohli.
At the start, Krunal faced difficulties against the short-pitched deliveries, a known area of weakness that DCās bowlers targeted consistently. Despite the pressure, Virat Kohli guided Krunal through the tough phase, helping him regain his composure and settle into the innings.
RCB’s situation was tense early on. They lost three wickets quickly, with no Philip Salt available in the squad. Devdutt Padikkal was dismissed for a duck, and captain Rajat Patidar also fell cheaply. At that point, DC appeared to be in a strong position.
