The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has had to quickly change plans due to safety and logistical issues. Match 61 Location Changed for Safety Reasons the IPL Match 61 between Mumbai Indians (MI) and Punjab Kings (PBKS), which was supposed to happen in Dharamshala, will now be played at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

The decision was made because it was getting harder to manage things and to keep players and fans safe. The game on May 8 between Punjab Kings and Delhi Capitals has been called off because of increasing tensions near the Jammu border.

When the match was stopped, PBKS had a strong lead with a score of 122 runs for 1 wicket in 10. 1 overs Priyansh Arya scored 34 runs from 70 balls, and Prabhsimran Singh played well, getting a fast 50 runs off 28 balls.
