BCCI issued new guidelines for players’ families and wives.
After a huge setback from the Australian tour, BCCI has introduced new guidelines. A player’s wife won’t be allowed to stay for the entire tour. A wife or family member can stay for up to 14 days during a 45-day-long tour.
BCCI has also reported that players must travel by team bus, and no separate traveling is allowed.
During the Australian tour, Anushka Sharma, the wife of Virat Kohli, Ritika Sajdeh, the wife of Rohit Sharma, and Athiya Shetty, the wife of KL Rahul, were in attendance. The debutant Nitish Kumar Reddy’s family was also spotted.
